Concept
Dos Juegos represents an innovative approach to the analysis and study of sports performance in team sports. The project is aimed at amateur basketball teams and individuals who want to improve their game by changing the way they perceive the game. By analyzing each player's strengths and weaknesses, Dos Juegos enhances overall team performance and helps teams win by providing a deeper understanding of how each player's intervention affects the game.
Objective
The main goal of Dos Juegos is to help amateur basketball teams and players improve their game through detailed analysis and visualization of sports trajectories. By revealing patterns and behaviors in player movements, Dos Juegos provides valuable insights into successful and unsuccessful plays, enabling teams to learn and improve.
My Role
As an Information & Product Designer for the Dos Juegos project, I initiated the concept based on my personal experience, recognizing the need for more visual and engaging ways to explain basketball gameplay. I conducted extensive research on data visualization techniques, experimenting with different methods to find the most effective ways to present sports data. I then designed the visual presentations, player performance reports, and innovative analysis tools, even creating a unique mockup using needles and thread to represent player tracking results.
Deliverables
- Innovative Analysis Representation: Development of an experimental representation for analyzing player movements and game dynamics.
- Player Performance Results: Detailed reports highlighting each player's performance.
- Visual Presentations: Creation of visually attractive graphical representations.
- Physical Pre-Execution Demo: A conceptual physical demo using needles and thread to represent the expected results.
- 3D Video Pre-Execution Demo: A 3D video demo explaining the visualization trajectories.
